Anne Fryer – Author

Anne Fryer

Anne was born in South London in 1982. She achieved a First Class Honours degree in History at Royal Holloway, University of London in 2003. After completing her PGCE at the Institute of Education, London, she taught History and Politics for five years in London secondary schools before becoming a full time mother in 2009. Since then she has combined being a wife and mother with personal tutoring and exam marking. Anne began writing ‘The Great history of Britain’ in 2010 determined to give her readers a basic chronological overview of British History.

 

Paul Fryer – Illustrator and Designer

Paul Fryer

Paul was born in Winchester in 1977. He achieved an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Art, Design and Graphics at Portsmouth University in 1999. He then went on to work as a multimedia designer in industry, a graphic designer at a South London College and then a Digital Marketing Manager at a UK university. He is currently working as Head of Digital at a leading international construction firm. Together with his wife Anne, Paul has used his creative and artistic skills to hand illustrate, design, promote and self publish ‘The Great history of Britain’.

 

Paul and Anne currently live in a village just outside Hitchin, Hertfordshire with their four children. ‘The Great history of Britain’ is their first book.
